The Coho Festival is a celebration of environment protection and nature’s annual miracle of salmon returning to North Shore rivers and streams. This festival is held every September at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver.
Visitors of all ages can learn ways to protect and preserve our environment with the goal of becoming stewards of the environment. As environmental stewards, our goal is to bring wild salmon back to all of the local rivers and streams across the North Shore.
The Coho Festival kicks off with the famous 14K Coho Run to Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. Watch the runners cross the finish line, then attend a Squamish Nation blessing of the salmon followed by live entertainment and the famous salmon barbecue.
The Coho Garden offers local craft beers, cider and premium wines. Pick up your salmon dinner, grab a beverage and enjoy the waterfront location and the live band on the main stage. This is a family event, so children 9 and under may accompany their parents into the Coho Garden.
